Record Production Testimonials
"An
artist's project is seldom completely understood and duplicated when it comes to
their own feeling and vision of a production - so one expects a compromise. Until
Tony Rockliff. Tony expertly breaks down any possible barriers that may
seemingly be in the way of the artist's complete expression, then follows down
your journey of aesthetics enhancing each turn, marrying into the concept and
without a flinch lifting you through each plateau. Working with Tony was so
effortless that I felt able to "make love" to my music. A Master Producer."

"I would like to thank Tony for the fantastic job he did on the production of The
Road's "This Time It's Love'. Tony's pre-production
and efficiency in the studio kept the sessions running very smoothly. Tony also
has a fantastic ability to create a safe space and produce great sounds and
bring the best out of an artist and get it onto tape. This is something very
needed in this business and Tony really came through for us."

"What every singer/songwriter is looking for in a producer is someone who will truly
understand the intention, viewpoint and universe of that particular song and make
it come alive. Preserving and bringing out the integrity of the song means everything.
Tony Rockliff took a very, very sketchy acoustic guitar rendition of my song and
made it into a full rock production that was creative and professional. It still
was totally my song -- just bigger and better. He also appreciated
and used my input to the project rather than just bypassing me. Tony is very
safe and creates a warm and playful environment. On top of getting a great
product, it's a heck of a lot of fun!"

"I wanted to write to you to express our satisfaction with our recent recording
sessions with you acting not only as the producer, but also the engineer. It never
fails that you seem to take the quality of the session seriously to the point where
it is hard to tell demos apart from masters. This is so true that I know we could
get away with pressing our demos, and no-one (but you) would know the difference.
We are also very pleased to see that you have mastered the new computer technology,
and the savings to us in studio time and money is further proof that your concern
goes deeper than just making sure the levels are right. We are impressed that you
stay up to date on the latest changes in the computers, and are
constantly updating the sounds available for our use."

“Tony, I wanted to let you know how fun it was to record in your studio earlier....
I had a blast! It was so great to have your expertise for the recording of my first
demo. And the fact that you made it easy and comfortable for me was a real bonus.
You are brilliant and amazing, and I am learning a lot in this process. I am so excited
to record the next song!
"Thank you again for all of
your hard work and care."

"I had a CD I recorded a couple of years ago containing a bunch of my instrumental
guitar originals. I had a lot of personal hoopla on it when I 1st did it and I managed
to "hawk" about 60 or so of them to my friends and acquaintances in a somewhat enforced
manner. Then the wind went out of my sails on it and I lost interest in pushing it
and really didn't know what to do next to get it to the next level.
"Enter master
sound engineer/music industry pro Tony Rockliff. He initially said the exact things
to get me re-inspired to do something further with the CD. The first quest was to
really master it (I had done a fairly good job at mixing it on my home system but
I had no idea really of the mastering process).
"Wow! What a difference having it mastered
in the hands of a world class pro like Tony. He is a blur of tools on his computer
that look largely like Martian to me and he works in a whir of skilled action as
he does delicate surgery on your music. But he's with you on each step, checking
if you are happy with each result of the mastering process. And boy! What a difference!
"Each piece just came to life. I am newly inspired to get my CD into the hands of
many. I additionally attended a seminar Tony did on marketing your CD which was incredible
and gave me the exact tools to get my music out there and really selling. If you
have music to be recorded, mixed or mastered or need help on how to actually go to
the next level in getting your music out there, Tony is definitely your man. Look
him up and go to work, you won't regret it in the least."
